Back in March Ubisoft announced that Ghost Recon Wildland will get an additional game mode, and it appears the PvP battles will arrive this fall.

We will be able to participate in open beta testing later this summer and there is some interesting information coming from the producers:

“Ghost War will … integrate new PvP mechanics, including suppressing fire and sound markers, to create a true military strategic, team-based multiplayer mode.”

The gameplay is going to be a 4 on 4 deathmatch scenario with two teams able to chose from 6 different classes of soldiers fighting on large, open battlegrounds.

The developers mentioned that over the course of the summer a series of open test will occur and, if everything goes according to schedule, the expansion will launch free of charge this fall.
