Fallen Ghosts will be available first for the season pass holders.

The second major expansion for Ghost Recon Wildlands will release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 30th. On that day all Season Pass holders will be able to access new content, with other people being able to buy the DLC a week later, on June 6th. Here’s the backstory:

Fallen Ghosts takes place after the fall of the Santa Blanca Cartel. With Unidad’s military force unable to maintain control over Bolivia, the country is in a state of civil war. To help restore order, the Unidad enlists cartel members, veterans, mercenaries and criminals from various nearby countries as volunteers. Together, they form a new brutal special unit, Los Extranjeros, which is ordered to track and eliminate all American agents.

Unfortunately, Fallen Ghosts won’t allow you to play with your original character and instead will require you to create a new hero on Level 30. The expansion increases the level cap, while giving you starting access to main skills and adding several new ones.

Four new enemy types are planned, being part of an elite special unit named Los Extranjeros combining cartel members, criminals and specialists from Bolivia and abroad. The new classes are: Armoured (very deadly in close combat, hard to kill with bullets), Elite Sniper (with an advanced movement detector), Jammer (equipped with a mobile jamming antenna, able to neutralise your items including drones), and Covert Ops (prototype cloaking device, owners of a new item type – crossbow).

You can expect 15 new missions in total set in three new regions. You will find further details on Ubisoft’s blog.
