Hearthstone has 70 million players

The game keeps growing and the current expansion has quite the stats to prove it.

70 million unique players have joined Hearthstone since the game released in March of 2014. Journey to Un’Goro, the newest expansion, allowed it to achieve the highest number of concurrent players. Unfortunately, we don’t know what the specific numbers are, especially when it comes to how many people are active on a monthly basis.

To celebrate this milestone, Blizzard offers three free card packs with the cards from Journey to Un’Goro. You can them until the end of May. That accounts for new players as well, so if you didn’t have a chance to play Hearthstone earlier, now is the moment.
