TCMF Games reports that the third installment in the famous Horizon series is in the works at Guerilla Games. Its potential release date is sometime in 2027 and the game’s launch could possibly coincide with the launch of PS6.
Story-wise, the game will most likely continue the Nemesis plot thread, as suggested by the second game. It might also conclude the story of Aloy. However, before we get our hands on Horizon 3, another game in the series, a multiplayer-based one, might get a release.
Not much is known about this one, though. Additionally, NCSoft is also working on a multiplayer Horizon game, which is pretty likely to be an MMO, though there were rumors that it has been cancelled.

Either way, these are all just rumors, so there’s no telling what the future will bring, but with the success the Horizon series has enjoyed so far, it’s only a matter of time before we get another title.
