Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, previously teased around the release of the base game, has now officially been announced complete with a release date.
The expansion, set to drop on September 4, 2025, will take players to Rome where they’ll get a chance to explore the catacombs and dive into the mystery of the titular sect.
And that’s pretty much there is to the announcement. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle dropped in December 2024 to rave reviews, reigniting the spark of a revered franchise that kinda got stale after the two so-so movies and not much going on in the video game department.
Troy Baker did a great job as Indy, the developers crafted one heck of an immersive sim (the game’s got more in common with Dishonored than Uncharted), and The Great Circle achieved success. Will we see a sequel? That seems pretty certain, though the developers want to focus on this game and its expansion first.
