Learn about dungeon design in Diablo III

A new 18-minute long video was released with inside info from Ed Hanes, game designer from Blizzard.

To us dungeons in Diablo III might seem like a series of rooms but there’s a lot going under the hood when you think about their design. As a part of Lightning Talks at BlizzCon 2016 several developers talked about game design and game designer Ed Hanes shared some thoughts about dungeon design and content pacing.

Blizzard’s goals included a new experience every 15 minutes – that includes monster/art change. Just at the beginning of the video you’ll learn about reward frequency, monster spawning and changes that occurred during the dungeons’ development.
