While the game is in Early Access, there’s still a long road ahead.
Conan Exiles launched a few weeks ago in Steam Early Access. We had some harsh words about the early gameplay while sharing some tips about the survival in this not-as-finished and buggy world.
Now developers want you to learn about the game’s future. In Q3 a Game Preview version for Xbox One will be launched. A full launch of the title is planned for Q1 2018. During this year major features will be added and that includes siege warfare (trebuchets, siege towers etc.), mounts and NPC armies attacking player bases (“The Purge”).
The most interesting thing is Sorcery, which will finally add Necromancy to the world of Conan Exiles. New biomes will be introduced with additional places to visit and a temperature system. Settlement mechanics will be added as well. If you want to learn the details, please check the video below:
