Nintendo has its strategy for building hardware, but when it comes to grabbing some additional money, there’s no difference in comparison to other companies.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is said to be one of the largest games that Nintendo has ever released, granting you hours of entertainment. Unfortunately, for the first time in the series, some additional content will be delivered later in a form of DLC included in the Season Pass.

It’s called Expansion Pass and is priced at $19.99. Everyone who buys it will get a bonus in the form of three Treasure Chests (with in-game clothes and other items) available on the game’s release on March 3rd. Later this year two expansions will be released.

The first one will debut in Summer 2017 and will add Cave of Trials challenge, a new, undescribed in-game map feature and Hard Mode. The second is planned for Holiday 2017 and will add a new story, another dungeon and other additional challenges.

The Expansion Pass is available for both Nintendo Switch and Wii U versions of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild without any differences. What’s surprising is the fact that you won’t be able to buy DLC packs separately.
