It’s now confirmed: you’ll be able to play the newest Zelda on Day 1 of Nintendo Switch’s release.
We are now 100% sure – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be available for all of us buying the newest Nintendo console on the debut date. Starting from March 3rd you’ll be able to begin Link’s newest journey and here’s a great trailer from Switch’s presentation:
It was also confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will work in 900p upscaled to 1080p when Nintendo Switch will be in dock mode with 720p while in portable mode.
Special and Master Editions of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild were also announced. The former, priced at $99.99, contains Sheikah Slate Carrying Case, a Sheikah Eye Collectible Coin, the Relic of Hyrule: Calamity Ganon Tapestry and Weather-Worn Map, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sound Selection CD.
The latter, priced at $129.99, includes elements of Special Edition, as well as Master Sword of Resurrection statue and an unique packaging. Take a look at the picture below:
