The five-piece studio consisting of the veterans of the above-mentioned studios are working on a new medieval 4X strategy, which can be described as a mixture of Civilization, Crusader Kings, and Heroes of Might & Magic.
Liegecraft puts you in the shoes of a medieval lord commanding the titular lieges and building his kingdom. You need to continuously expand and conquer, but also make sure that your subject remain loyal and happy.
If not, you might face a brutal revolt, which is never a good thing.
You can also reward loyalists, and imprison or execute traitors. The game will also feature a rich narrative layer and focus on heroes and their development. Mods will be supported, with a robust map editor available, letting players create their own scenarios and share them with the community.
The release date hasn’t been revealed yet, but the game is supposed to be out in 2025. Here’s the gameplay video:
