The developers of Marvel 1943, Skydance Games, have pushed the release date to early 2026 from the initial one of sometime in 2025.
The reason behind that is quite simple: Skydance wants more time to polish Rise of Hydra and ensure it’s the best possible experience for gamers. The developers are also planning on releasing more info to the public soon.
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is an upcoming action-adventure game taking place during World War II in occupied Paris. The game focuses on the exploits of four superheroes: Captain America, the Black Panther, Nanala, and Gabriel Jones, a member of the Howling Commandos. The key plot will be the conflict between Cap and the king of Wakanda. Tony Stark’s father, Howard, is also set to appear. Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is now set to release at the beginning of 2026.
And if you’re waiting on more Marvel games, there’s an Iron Man game being developed by EA Motive, as well as Arkane Studios’ Blade.
