Metal Gear Survive beta coming to consoles

Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners can start getting excited.

Konami has announced that a beta version of Metal Gear Survive is coming this January for current-gen consoles. They have also released a video depicting the single-player portion of the game.

The video depicts some basic survival and gameplay while also showcasing some of the action that is to be expected from the game.

The title picks up after Metal Gear Solid 5 and puts players in a realm where they must learn to survive while exploring and taking advantage of the environment for food, water, and other resources.

Metal Gear Survive is set to be released on February 20 for PC on Steam, PS4 and Xbox One.
