The saga continues not only for Iden Versio.

Electronic Arts are mulling over the situation with Star Wars: Battlefront 2 microtransactions and the general state of online play.

After deciding to cut paid for crystals within the game the publisher is investigating the possibility of their return.

The last couple of weeks have seen updates to the game addressing, among others, the amount of credits players get from online matches.

EA CFO Blake Jorgensen pointed out during the 37th NASDAQ Investor Conference that Star Wars: Battlefront 2 microtransactions are not a sure thing in the long run:

“Overtime, we’ll address how we will want to bring the MTX either into the game or not and what form we will decide to bring it into,” he added.”

Monetization is a big thing for the company so the uncertainty in that respect is very curious.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is out now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
