Another day, another fine collab. Magic: The Gathering is getting Monster Hunter-themed sets. Perfect especially if you’re a fan of both.
It’s just a yet another in a line of crossovers that have graced MtG. After all, we’ve already received stuff from franchises and universes such as Lord of the Rings, Warhammer 40,000, Fortnite, Dungeons & Dragons, Transformers, etc. Heck, even Dwight Schrute from The Office.
Monster Hunter Wilds x Magic: The Cathering
Fans aren’t exactly enthusiastic about these crossovers, especially if they’re a far cry from the fantasy setting of the Magic: The Gathering universe, but hey, they’re not actually part of it, but the Universes Beyond series, which freely combines MtG with other Ips.
And at least some of these sets are of high quality. Monster Hunter-themed card packs surely are going to belong in that category, with fine artwork adorning the new cards.
What we’re getting on December 1, 2025 are four sets of Monster Hunter cards.
