The campaign will not be a short one.

In an interview with the German magazine Mein-MMO the developers behind Monster Hunter World shared some details about their upcoming production.

According to producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, the story will take around 40-50 hours to complete but seeing the end credits does not mean the end of fun as you can still rough around after that.

On a weekly basis, players will be able to undertake event quests which will prolong the game’s playtime even further.

There was a lot of work put into the title’s locations to make them both vertical and full of different features to make every hunt unique. They were also inspired by Australia for some part at least.

Monster Hunter: World will be released on January 26, 2018, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
