Solasta II is getting its first major Early Access update on September 10, 2026, and it brings two additions players have been waiting for: online multiplayer and the Warlock class.
Solasta II multiplayer arrives in September
The new co-op mode will let one player host a campaign and invite up to three friends, either into a new adventure or an existing save. Tactical Adventures is also adding Hot Join support, a ping system, and group voting during conversations, with the most popular dialogue choice becoming the party’s response.
The studio says multiplayer is intended to capture some of the table-talk feeling of a tabletop RPG. Players can split up while exploring, coordinate positioning during turn-based battles, and decide together how the party handles important conversations.
Warlocks join the class roster
Update 1 also introduces the Warlock, complete with two subclasses: The Time Keeper and The Dreamer. As expected from the class, Warlocks gain special abilities and spells through their relationship with a powerful patron, with builds suited to both ranged and close-range combat.
There is more in the update beyond co-op and Warlocks. Tactical Adventures is adding 30 new World Events, additional hairstyles, beards, tattoos and warpaints, dice rolling for character ability scores, optional spell-component rules, Steam Cloud saves, and further fixes and stability improvements.
Solasta II entered Steam Early Access on March 12, 2026. Tactical Adventures has previously said that multiplayer, additional classes, ancestries, quests, locations, and monsters will continue to be added on the road to version 1.0.
