New Game+ added to Horizon Zero Dawn

While the devs are developing a DLC, new features were added through the latest patch.

It’s a positively surprising thing to see how Horizon Zero Dawn is being expanded through free updates. The latest patch numbered 1.30 adds a New Game+ mode to the game and you should be able to download it right now.

With New Game+ you will be able to relive the adventures of Aloy without losing your character progression and your collected inventory. You won’t be able to progress beyond the level cap of 50, but you can still collect XP during your adventure.

There is no information on how we can use the XP after level cap, but if you like being challenged, there’s a new Ultra Hard difficulty available there. “This new setting will enhance machine senses and behavior and will limit player health regen and other additional smaller tweaks.,” we read.

Two new trophies were added along New Game+, and people who still play will be able to use facepaint that should come handy in the game’s Photo Mode.
