News Tower – What’s the Goal?
Just a bit, though, because what you’ll be building here is a successful media empire in the 1930s. You get complex office construction tools to build your newsrooms as you see fit – and to ensure that they’re as efficient as possible. But! Empty rooms won’t do you no good. You also need a top-tier staff: photographers, reporters, ads salespeople. Even janitors make a difference here.
Your goal: get the new issue of your newspaper ready before each Sunday. And make sure it sells.
But there’s more to that. You have rival newspapers. And they’re very aggressive. Also, various factions fight for control over New York and not everyone believes in freedom of press…
Sounds fun? If the answer is affirmative, then you’re in for a wild ride. News Tower is definitely one of the best managerial sims that’ve come out in the last couple of years.
