The side-scrolling fighting game is receiving a proper sequel three years after the original release.
Nidhogg 2 will be released on August 15th and the preorders for the game should start on July 18th. As you can see, the game now includes a much different art style to the original title. It’s a result of developers being able to offer smooth animations that aren’t time-consuming when modified a bit.
