We will have to do without the fantastic series about the Dark Knight.
The Batman: Arkham series have been a steady success throughout the years banking millions of dollars along the way and getting praise from critics as well. It had its ups and downs but overall was a great franchise.
If you were hoping that the conclusion of the last iteration was just temporary and new avenues would open for Bruce Wayne’s alter ego than here’s some sad news. There aren’t. Twitter user Matt Sifford caught Conroy’s comments live during Nashville Wizard World Comic Con:

Kevin Conroy, the voice actor behind the mask, answered any further sequels question by saying that nothing is going to happen.
“You know, I can’t believe that they’re not going to do another one, but they’re not. Isn’t that amazing? It’s… they made literally billions of dollars in those games. But, no, there’s no plan to do another one. Sorry.”
There you have it. It’s time to get cosy with Spiderman instead.
