Paladins enters the battle royale of Battle Royales

Yeah, Paladins. Remember it? A “hero shooter” which launched a couple months after Overwatch, inadvertently becoming a victim of bad timing. Not having an insane marketing budget probably didn’t help either.

Now, possibly inspired by Fortnite, which struggled as well, Paladins decides to pull all the stops and join the exploding in popularity Battle Royale genre. They even have a handy trailer to get you excited for it.

Either way, Paladins: Battlegrounds (yes, really), boldly claiming to be “the first hero shooter battle royale” is going to go live later this year, although no specific date has yet surfaced. While it’s going to become hard to track all the Battle Royales, we’ll do our best to keep you informed on P.BG.
