What’s this? Palworld is undergoing a gradual change! It’s the December 2024 Update!
It’s been some time since the last time the open world survival game with legally distinct cute monsters got an update, hasn’t it?
The new update is planned to drop this December, but no specific dates have been provided at the time of writing.
What can we expect? A few things.
The largest one, quite literally, is the new island, said to be several times larger than Sakurajima, the last region. There has been no official reveal of the island yet, but Pocketpair promised it’s going to be a challenging region, with lots of dangerous bosses and Pal species. Sounds quite exciting.
There is also going to be a collaboration with Terraria, of all things, although that one’s arrival to Palworld isn’t to be expected until 2025.
Details regarding gameplay changes or the particulars of the Terraria collab remain scarce, but it’s all shaping up to be a chunky upgrade worth keeping your eyes on, whether you’re an active or a lapsed Palworld player.
