Palworld, the survival game powered by magical critters, has been out for just over a year now. While the player counts have settled down since their initial explosion, the developer Pocketpair is still in the game working on new updates.
Case in point: a new one just dropped, and it’s a big one, providing a lot of new content and functionalities to the Early Access title.
The main feature is, of course, enabling the crossplay, allowing you to finally play the game with friends on other platforms.
Other additions include:
- Global Palbox – a system for transferring your Pal creatures between worlds
- Dimensional Pal Storage – ten times larger than the normal Palbox
- Gear transmog – no longer must you sacrifice fashion for functional armor
- Photo mode
- Drafting table, where you can use low-quality blueprints to make higher-tier ones
- For Mac users: dedicated servers
There’s also a range of smaller tweaks and optimizations, which can be interesting for dedicated players, but aren’t quite as essential as the new features. You can read more about them in the official patch notes here (https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1623730/view/571499455390418195).
