The masters of Grand Strategies acquired the team of Triumph Studios.
If you are familiar with Overlord and/or Age of Wonders series, then you should know the developers behind it – the Triumph Studios. As the press release reminds, the company was founded in 1997 by Lennart Sas and Arno van Wingerden, and both creators are still part of the team.
What is interesting is the fact that Paradox Interactive won’t stop the ongoing development and all the works that were started will be continued. It’s is highly probable that the next game in Age of Wonders IP is created, but nothing was confirmed at this moment. We’ll have to wait for more detailed announcements.
