The Division gets a free-to-play weekend

It is getting harder and harder to play games you’ve actually paid for.

Ubisoft announced that the 3rd person shooter and loot grinder is known as The Division will have a free trial this weekend. Everything within the game will be available from the campaign to the PvP Dark Zone.

Coming up short when it was first released the game seems to be hitting its stride more often nowadays. Initially, empty after the campaign with a pretty much troublesome multiplayer component The Division has been getting a slow stream of updates which made the game an entirely different beast.

The playtime goes live September 14th at 7 pm CEST and closes out September 17th at 10 pm CEST but you are able to preload the game now.
