When Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire’s crowdfunding campaign started, the original goal was to get $1.1 million in pledges. That became a fact in less than 24 hours and the funds are still growing. As of now, the game has $2 million confirmed in pledges.

What’s next for Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire? There are still three weeks remaining in the Fig campaign. And there are further stretch goals. At $2.2 million NPC portraits will be added – that means UI customization and a lot more of details. Italian localisation is part of this goal as well.

With $2.4 million pledged a Korean localisation will be added and, as a general change, the number of voiceovers in the game will be doubled. It doesn’t mean that all lines will be voiced, but a lot of NPCs will get their actor and the characters already voiced will be improved. There’s also a new video explaining the multiclass system:
