Colopl NI, an experienced developer of VR games recently gave an update on their upcoming production. The Rise of Captain Longbeard, first announced in September 2016, is a pirate-themed VR action-adventure game set in the colorful and bright setting reminiscent of Monkey Island.
Recently the Colopl confirmed developing the game for HTC Vive, and teased its arrival on Steam Early Access during the holiday season. The alpha trailer shows the locales and key gameplay eleents, including gunplay, enemies, cannon firing and looting chests.
The Rise of Captain Longbeard sets out to be a very enjoyable vacation to the Caribbean in the dead of winter without ever having to move from the chair.
