Grab your pads and get ready for even more action! The December additions to the PlayStation Plus lineup surely promise some amazing adventures of all kinds. Some scary, some weird, some oozing with sense of wonder. Let’s check them out, shall we?
LEGO Horizon Adventures | PS5
You had LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Harry Potter, LEGO DC, LEGO Marvel, LEGO Indiana Jones, LEGO Jurassic Park, etc., etc. You get the picture. Now you have LEGO Horizon. And Aloy made of bricks. LEGO Horizon Adventures is a re-imagining of the first game, but with that Danish toy touch. This one actually lets you play in co-op, both couch and online, and unlock new characters, each with special abilities. Don’t miss out on that one!
Killing Floor 3 | PS5
A great sequel to one of the most famous co-op horror shooter franchises, Killing Floor 3 once again lets up to six players face twisted aberrations unleashed by the sinister Horzine megacorp. Only if you cooperate well with other team members and put your weaponry and gadgetry to good use will you be able to succeed, clear out enemy hordes, and make it out alive.
The Outlast Trials | PS4, PS5
Another great horror game on this list, The Outlast Trials blends iconic first-person survival horror gameplay known from the base games with co-op elements. That’s right, you can play with up to three other players. You know the drill: in order to earn your freedom, you need to avoid enemies or try to distract them using all sorts of tools at your disposal. It’s not an easy task. And it’s certainly scary as heck.
Synduality Echo of Ada | PS5
This one’s a yet another take on the post-apocalyptic themes on this list. Humanity’s been wiped out for the most part by an affliction called the Tears of the New Moon. Monstrosities took over. The remainder of our civilization hides in underground shelters. You, as a Drifter tasked with collecting AO Crystals, are mankind’s last hope.
Neon White | PS4, PS5
Feel like blasting some demons? Neon White delivers that in spades. It’s a first-person action game where you can collect Soul Cards for new ways to attack and destroy your foes. Or you can discard them to use unique movement abilities instead. It’s a great game for experimenting with different playstyles and trying out new things not just to win, but also conquer the leaderboards.
