The battle for better visuals between PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X has already begun.
Project CARS 2 is shaping up to be a great driving game. With the experience and confidence gained from the first installment, Slightly Mad Studios title is promising to be a fantastic thing.
Stephen Viljoen, game director, discussed in an interview Trusted Reviews how the upcoming game will fare graphically between the two strongest consoles on the market – PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.
“I can’t tell you exactly what all the various sliders will be at when you’re on Xbox One X versus on PS4 Pro, but obviously, they’ll be higher, so there will be a significant, a noticeable improvement because you have better hardware.”
Viljoen also stated that the studio is prepared to drop visual quality on consoles to ensure the game runs smoothly. That’s encouraging if you consider the first game’s frame rate problems.
