The Pyre is a couple of days away and the devs show off with a nice new trailer for us to see:
Supergiant Games made headlines a couple of years ago with the fantastic Bastion and followed it up with warmly received Transistor. So Pyre has some big shoes to fill and it’s looking up for it.
The devs sum up the game as:
“A party-based RPG in which you lead a band of exiles to freedom through ancient competitions spread across a vast, mystical purgatory. Find out in our biggest-ever single-player Campaign, or challenge a friend to a fast-paced ritual showdown in Versus Mode.”
The description and the trailer leaves us intrigued and a little confused. All the more excited, though. Pyre is out on PC and PS4 on July 25th.
