Rage is now available in digital form for Xbox One

It’s another step after the game has been shared in Backward Compatibility program.

Rage, developed by id Software, was originally released in October of 2011. As the first game based on idTech 5 it had some problems with optimisation, but in general it was “okay” as a shooter. Last year, also in October, it has been added to the Backward Compatibility list.

Although Xbox One players were able to play it, Rage was only available as a disc release for Xbox 360. Now, as confirmed by Xbox’s Larry Hryb (quote below) you can buy a digital version of the game. Or you can wait for a sale…
