In a tweet Ubisoft confirmed that their competitive first-person shooter Rainbow Six: Siege will be supported with new content for another year. The details are yet to come, but new maps and new Operators seem like a given.

Siege pits two teams of players against each other in a destructible environment, which allows various Operators (classes) to fully use their abilities. Focus on small unit combat and abilities designed with tactical gameplay in mind make Siege stand out from other multiplayer shooters.
