Ubisoft just announced that the next patch for their tactical online shoter Rainbow Six Siege is going to be enourmous. Just take a lokk at their estimates:

The patch changes how the game’s data is organized and in the future will help both easier patching and the loading speeds. The latter was hard to gauge on PC but consoles saw a 10% raise. The official blog post tells us:

“By consolidating our patches and data players will see a reduction ‘seek time’, which means faster load times for all players. While it is difficult to determine an exact loading time reduction percentage for PC due to the variety of configurations, consoles will see about 10% faster loading times for matches.”
