Publisher Paradox Interactive and developer Obsidian Entertainment have announced the release date of the latter’s upcoming role-playing game Tyranny.

Tyranny is set in a world where the evil, in the form of Kyros the Overlord, had won and conquered the world centuries before the game’s story. Rather than trying to overthrow the evil rule, the player character will act as a Fatebinder, one of the agents representing Kyros’ law as a judges and executioners. Tyranny will have branching storylines potentially affecting the maps you travel, flexible spell-crafting system, and improved combat systems known from the developer’s previous game: the well-received Pillars of Eternity.

Tyranny is set for release on 10 November 2016, with three separate pre-order versions available.
