The game will be improved on the standard PS4 as well.
Rocket League will receive a patch on February 21st. Starting from then, the game will work in 60 FPS on all PlayStation 4 versions. Moreover, the game will run at 1080p on a standard PS4 and at 4K on a PS4 Pro. Those resolutions are confirmed for single player and two-player split-screen mode.
“Three and four-player split-screen modes will offer 60 frames per second in most arenas at the same resolutions,” we read in a PlayStation blog post. Hot Wheels premium cars will be available as well, with some free goodies as random drops. “Multiple performance optimisations and bug fixes” are included.
