Shenmue 3 delayed. Yet again

In style of a poor thriller with a plot twist that everybody knew was coming, Shenmue 3 is delayed yet again, this time until the second half of 2018.

Kickstarter games do tend to be delayed over and over again as small studios struggle with keeping up with promised release dates (and lack of an overbearing publisher). The game received $6,333,295 in crowdfunding back in 2015 for a PC and PlayStation 4 version, created by Ys Net. Here’s the message from Yu Suzuki from the company.

Let’s hope that as it was the case with many Kickstarter-funded projects, Shenmue 3 will deliver the quality we are all hoping for. Once it arrives. When it’s done.
