Space Marine 2

Space Marine 2 was easily one of the biggest launches of September 2024, especially since it wasn’t a re-release or a port.

The long-coming sequel to 2010’s adventures of Captain Titus was warmly received, thanks to its spectacular singleplayer campaign and excellent multiplayer modes.

And now it got its first big content update, with two major highlights.

  • The new difficulty level for the PvE Operations: Lethal. It’s perfect if you thought the mode was way too easy even at its (previously) highest setting.
  • A new mission, Termination, which puts your crew of fearless Astartes in a fight against a humongous Tyranid, the Hierophant bio-titan.

And, as an additional treat, there’s also a free DLC with 4k-quality textures for those of you who have machines strong enough to handle them. It’s a great way to future-proof the game for the devs, and a fantastic way to flex about your rig’s power for the players.

There are many more updates planned for SM2, so if you want to stay ahead of the curve, get the game now.
