That’s some strategy.

BlizzCon 2017 is bringing us some very interesting news. Blizzard announced that its grand real-time strategy game, StarCraft 2, is going free-to-play.

Beginning November 14, players will have free access to the Wings of Liberty campaign and to ranked multiplayer including all the latest balance and unit changes.

Everybody will also have the ability to play the game’s co-op mode with all co-op commanders available up to level 5. Raynor, Kerrigan, and Artanis are free all the way, but if you want to use any of the others beyond level 5, then purchase is required.

If you bought Wings of Liberty before October 31 then you’ll get a chance to claim Heart of the Swarm for free until December 8, if you haven’t already bought it.
