Over 17 million people were playing something at the same time.
That Steam is hugely popular is no secret, but the data really brings out the colors in that success story. There have been moments this month when almost 18 million people were logged into and playing something on the platform.

The numbers on Steam are a reflection of how well PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has been doing, with the game being solely responsible for almost 3 million of the 17 altogether.
Rounding up the top 5 is Dota 2, the biggest title on the platform for a long time before it was dethroned by PUBG, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Rainbow Six Siege and Team Fortress 2.
