Previous Partners Recap
Last year’s excitement peaked thanks to presentations from Sony, Microsoft, Ubisoft, and Bethesda. While not all of them have confirmed their participation in this year’s edition, it’s safe to assume that some will return. That means even more exciting announcements, dev showcases, and unforgettable moments that will stick with gamers for a long time.
Predictions For 2025
Looking at what we already know, it’s safe to say that Summer Game Fest 2025 has the potential to be one for the history books. Fans are eagerly awaiting Death Stranding 2 from Kojima Productions — a game that promises to be an even more surreal and immersive journey than the first. The Outer Worlds 2 by Obsidian is also a big question mark — will the studio manage to replicate the original’s success and bring new ideas to the table?
Or maybe Supermassive Games will steal the spotlight with a new horror project that gets fans on edge. Square Enix likely won’t hold back either — the remade Final Fantasy VII is generating massive buzz, so we can probably expect a new trailer with gameplay footage of the third part. Nintendo will surely take the opportunity to reveal more games for the long-awaited Switch 2, launching just before the festival kicks off.
