Super Mario Odyssey will save the Switch in October

What’s a new Nintendo console without a Mario game?

Well, you’ll have one in October as Super Mario Odyssey is slated to release on the 27 day of this month.

This time around Mario is tasked with collecting Moons which act as fuel for his airship, the Odyssey. The plumber will be accompanied by a new friend, Cappy, which, you guessed it, is a cap. There will also be vehicles that you can drive in the game.

According to Nintendo this is the first sandbox-style Mario adventure in full 3D since 15 years. Owners of the Nintendo Switch will finally have their second big original game on October 27.
