The Surge, a souls-like science-fiction fighting game created by the German studio Deck13, has received a fist major patch that, among other issues, has added the HDR support for the PS4 and PS4 Pro. It also adds a wider color range and some enhanced details to create a more immersive experience.
PC players will be happy to hear that their version is now capable of playing their own music in OPS, which is always a nice option. Deck 13 has used the opportunity to tweak the game a bit as well, including the ability to block most attacks, even those that you were only able to dodge by ducking or hopping in the initial version.
The patch has been live at the end of May, so if you had some problems with the enjoyable metal mashing game, now’s a good time to get back to business. Xbox One gamers will have to wait patiently for their turn.
