The new patch for Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is here. What fixes can we expect?

This year’s indie role-playing game from Questline launched on May 23 and gathered 25,656 concurrent players three days after release. Since it was a small team that developed the title with the support of a crowdfunding campaign, fans were expecting Tainted Grail patch notes from day one of its existence. Called Hotfix #3, the latest one involves bug fixes, feature additions, and improved gameplay details. Here’s the most recent update log for one of Steam’s most trending games!

Latest Updates

According to the developer’s game news on Steam, the title received the following updates on June 3:

  • “Fixed at least one instance of missing NPCs – we hope it was the only one, but please let us know if you encounter any others.
  • Resolved an issue with Arthur’s bonfire dialogues repeating and breaking progression logic (Arthur’s dialogues should now be available in the second region; previously, a broken line was breaking further interactions).
  • Fixed progression issues in Neante’s questline (The Price of Healing, Hollow Blessings).”

What does the future hold?

As we can conclude from the game’s version history so far, Questline aims to deliver a bug-free product as soon as possible. The previous Hotfix #2 introduced new changes to the user interface, gameplay, technical details, localization, and quests. As the developer reveals in the official announcement on Steam, “Also, our biggest patch yet is coming sometime between Friday and Monday, depending on how quickly we can get everything in!”

That might mean the game will receive many regular patches to provide the best role-playing experience. Moreover, Questline gladly uses fan feedback to deliver what players desire the most. Fingers crossed for their successful cooperation!
