Take a longer look at Code Vein

It’s a Souls like game with a distinct anime look.

Thanks to IGN first we can examine closer the gameplay from the upcoming Namco Bandai acton game. Couple of seconds in and you’ll be able to peg it easily:

Although it does seem to take heavy inspiration from Dark Souls and Bloodborne gameplay and storytelling the director for the game, Hiroshi Yoshimura, stressed it’s more than that:

“It becomes a combination of the Dark Souls style high tense battle with a very high pace action – that’s what sets us apart. The Very fast-paced action that you’d see in other games also.”

Code Vein will be out sometime in 2018.
