In a post by LiQuiD112 on Team Liquid’s official webpage, the gamers announced the creation of their Civilization Team. They mention, that the team’s foundations were based on strategy games, ranging from StarCraft to Civilization.
The other announcement from the post concerns the introduction of a new team member, going by MrGameTheory. He is a former world champion at several Civilization games. The post describes his achievements as follows:
“MrGameTheory is a former world champion Civilization player who achieved the rank of #1 on the Civilization Revolution leader board, Civilization IV international league, and Civilization V international league. He holds the records for most 1v2, 1v3, 1v4, and 1v5 ladder victories in Civilization IV. He is commonly referred to by members of the competitive community as the “God” or “Legend” of Civilization.”
Lastly, the team announced their plans for a starting a Civ 6 tournament.
