The console-facing The Binding of Isaac: Repentance + Online has a release date, and it has picked a rather crowded one: November 19, 2026, the same day as Grand Theft Auto VI.

What is The Binding of Isaac: Repentance + Online?
This is essentially the complete modern Binding of Isaac package. It includes the base Rebirth game, its previous DLC, the huge Repentance expansion, subsequent additions and improvements, and the Repentance+ online features.
It’s been available on PC for a while, but now it’s heading to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch 2 under a slightly clunkier, but very descriptive title.
Underneath all of that is still the same endlessly replayable roguelike shooter: randomized rooms, hundreds of items, bizarre synergies, branching routes, multiple endings, and a frankly unreasonable number of ways for one run to become completely broken.
Yes, it really launches with GTA 6
November 19, 2026 is also the current official release date for Grand Theft Auto VI.
It is obviously not a serious head-to-head competition. GTA 6 is one of the biggest releases in gaming, while Isaac is a long-running indie roguelike getting its most complete current-generation console version.
Still, there is something fitting about one of gaming’s most replayable time sinks deciding that GTA 6 launch day is as good a day as any to return.
