The Sims 4 returns to fantasy with the Enchanted by Nature Expansion Pack, launching July 10, 2025, at 12 PM CDT / 6 PM BST.
Magic is back: dairies, mood-based survival, magical plants, and a new world shake things up for players ready to escape everyday Sims life.
The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature: Fairies, Emotions, Elixirs
The stars here are Fairy Sims, who gain powers by connecting with Mother Nature. Choose between Harmonious or Discordant paths: soothing healer or chaos gremlin. You can fully customize their look: wings, glowing tattoos, magical ears, even unique Fairy WooHoo.
Two new aspirations round out the pack: Nature Nomad, focused on wild-living and foraging, and Elixir Enthusiast, with access to the new Apothecary Table. Here, you’ll craft cures for magical illnesses like Greenie Meanie, Simoleon Fever, or Sonic Sinuses, all tied to emotional imbalance and lifestyle choices.
Emotional Void
Fairies feed on emotions instead of food, either from Sims directly or bottled potions. Ignore it too long, and they can die from Emotional Starvation. Their powers include blooming plants, stirring moods, shrinking, and animating gnomes. Regular Sims can also use Fairy Dust for light magic.
Fairies can also plant magical crops like Aura Bloom and Lightning Root, while living houseplants now require care and company. You’re basically raising your own leafy roommates.
The trailer showed off Fairy customization, emotion-fueled magic, and their weirdly adorable death mechanics. Cross-pack features shine too: Fairies can heal pets, soothe Werewolves, remove vampirism, and recharge Mermaids and PlantSims. There’s even a universal elixir for restoring Occult Sims’ needs. If you’ve got Realm of Magic, watch out because some Sims might develop Fear of Magic.
Fantasy Done Right (Again)
After the grindy Businesses & Hobbies pack in March, this one leans fully into the cottagecore-meets-chaos fantasy vibe many Simmers have missed.
The new world, Innisgreen, includes:
- Coast of Adhmor – Laid-back seaside village.
- Sprucederry Grove – Ivy-covered homes and Whistling Thistle Gardens, a public green space.
- Everdew – Mystical woods with tree homes and Celtic atmosphere.
EA worked with community creators like TheCrackedKyber and Sandra Pyka to bring lots like Crannamor Residential and Gringle’s pub to life. The art direction pulls from Irish and Celtic design, giving the world unique charm.
You’ll also hear songs from artists like FKA Twigs, Perfume Genius, and Florence Road, adding to the pack’s vibe.
