Biomutant has made quite a splash during Gamescom with its kung-fu, shoot-em-up, open-world gameplay. So much so that the devs behind the game, Experiment101, were bought by THQ Nordic.

THQ Nordic owns the rights to Darksiders and Red Faction franchises and has added a dark horse to their stable with the highly anticipated Biomutant.
It doesn’t change much as far as the development cycle is concerned as the companies were already working on the game together.
