The multiplayer beta for Gears of War: E-Day begins today, giving eligible Xbox Series X|S and PC players an early opportunity to test The Coalition’s upcoming shooter.
The test will run across two weekends. The first is reserved for preorders and selected Game Pass members, while the second will be open to everyone on supported platforms.

Beta Dates and Access
- Early-access beta: August 6 at 12 p.m. PT / 3 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. CEST, ending August 10 at 10 a.m. PT. Access is available to players who preorder any edition, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members and PC Game Pass members.
- Open beta: August 13 at 12 p.m. PT / 3 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. CEST, ending August 17 at 10 a.m. PT. This session is available to all players on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Platforms and Requirements
Console players need a Game Pass subscription that includes online multiplayer. The beta supports cross-platform multiplayer for between two and 12 players.
