Easily the most hated Blizzard game of all time, Warcraft III: Reforged seemingly started getting the love it deserves.
The new update, revealed during the Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct stream, seeks to win back the fans and make the botched remaster better.
Bashed for broken promises, missing features, and being generally lackluster, Warcraft III: Reforged certainly isn’t one of the brightest spots in the history of Blizzard Entertainment.
This doesn’t mean the studio abandoned the game. The 30th anniversary stream revealed a new update, 2.0, which brings Reforged closer to what it was meant to be.
The new version features a whole slew of new stuff, such as HD versions of classic assets, more improvements in the visual department, plenty of new multiplayer features, UI tweaks, Warcraft 1 & 2 music available to play in the background, and so on.
You can also specify which assets you want to use, mixing and matching them as you see fit.
Warcraft III: Reforged is available either separately or as part of Warcraft Remastered Battle Chest. The 2.0 update is of course free to all who own the game already.
